Like all good start-ups, our story began in a garage — in Pine Junction, Colorado. What started as a small family venture between a husband-and-wife team with big dreams has grown into a lasting establishment built on craftsmanship, grit, and a deep love for natural hardwoods.

After meeting in college and starting our life together, we followed our dream of living in Colorado. Between homebuilding, electrical work, and a career in STEM, our journey was anything but ordinary. When our first child was on the way, we opened a small remodeling business that grew into custom kitchen cabinetry and fine woodworking. That’s where our passion for wood truly took root.

When life brought us back home to Arkansas, we quickly realized something was missing — the kind of quality, kiln-dried hardwoods we’d relied on out West just weren’t available locally. That gap became our opportunity. What started as an idea over the workbench became Endgrained Hardwoods: a place where local craftsmanship meets American-made excellence.
